Client Testimonial Terracotta Roof Restoration South Brisbane

We love hearing strong and positive feedback from our clients – it shows we must be doing our job right. Chris tells us about his recent experience:

“Thank you to all at JMZ for doing a fantastic job. Our terracotta roof needed a good clean, tiles replaced and ridge tiles cemented, as well as a clear ‘sealant’ over the roof instead of painting to keep the terracotta look of the tiles. The work was done by a team of guys who were very professional and worked tirelessly from start to finish, and cleaned up afterwards so everywhere was spotless. We are very happy with the result. The contact and information received from the office was also excellent. We would certainly recommend JMZ without any hesitation.”

Choosing a roof colour isn’t just about what looks good. In Ipswich, it can also impact how hot your home gets, how long the coating lasts, and how well your roof handles storm season. So how do you pick the right colour — one that’s both beautiful and practical? Understanding Ipswich’s Climate and Its Impact on Colour Ipswich homes face a mix of harsh elements: Intense sunlight and UV radiation High summer heat - Seasonal storms and heavy rain Airborne dust and debris Dark roofs tend to absorb more heat, which can raise internal temperatures. They also fade faster under UV exposure. Lighter roofs reflect more sunlight, keeping your home cooler and helping the coating last longer. Popular Roof Colours in Ipswich Globalcote colour options for Ipswich homeowners: Surfmist: Bright, clean, and one of the highest for heat reflection Shale Grey: Modern and versatile with good solar performance Evening Haze: Soft and neutral with broad street appeal Dune: An earthy tone that blends well with older and newer homes Windspray: Subtle and stylish, suitable for various house styles All these colours are available in Globalcote’s Infracote (heat reflective) and Elastacote (flexible membrane) roof coating systems. Quick Answer: What Roof Colours Work Best in Ipswich? Lighter, UV-stable colours like Surfmist, Shale Grey, and Dune work best in Ipswich. They reflect more heat and resist fading, making them ideal for Queensland homes. Roof Painting That Lasts Roof painting in Ipswich isn’t just cosmetic.
